For the Christmas period, the Association of traders and craftsmen of Bouzonville (Acab) wanted a decoration of the windows on the theme of Mickey. Made in blue colors by an artist from Saint-Avold, Antoine Klein, the drawings followed one another all along the rue de la République on more than twenty storefronts.
At the same time, a big game, Féerie de Noël @ bouzonville, was offered as a modern concept. Participants, adults, equipped with a smartphone, could flash QR codes at the 42 participating merchants. They were thus able to accumulate points and try to win a superb prize.
The awards ceremony for the great Christmas game organized by Acab and designed by the company Citypeps, from Thionville, managed by Hanen Frej, took place on Tuesday, January 4 at the premises of Mike Téléphone. With more than 400 participants, the game generated excitement.

The ladies in force
The winners are exclusively women. Fanny B., from Saint-François-Lacroix won first prize, a stay for 4 at Disneyland, with 65,900 points. “I must admit that I immediately got into the game. I visited all the participating businesses except one which was very far from the city center. I was competing with Christelle L., from Bouzonville, who won the second prize. We fought, fair of course, until the last minute to get the most points. I am very happy to have participated, because the game allowed me to know many businesses that I did not frequent before. “
Christelle L., from Bouzonville, a good player, is happy to have won an electric scooter with 65,700 points. “This second prize will make my son happy. First I’ll buy him a helmet and explain some rules to him like not riding on the sidewalk. »Mélanie F., from Schwerdorff, won 3rd prize, a touchscreen tablet, with 57,000 points.

New game for Valentine’s Day
“With 400 participants and more than 1,200 scanned QR codes, the great Christmas game was a real success among the ladies. For Valentine’s Day, we will be offering a new one, ”announces Jennifer Mélis, president of Acab.
“Only downside: this modern design game was not directly accessible to older people, unfamiliar with the smartphone,” laments a participant. The smartphone was the sine qua non in order to access the game, but generational solidarity operated and the grandchildren often supported the somewhat helpless grannies.
