The winners of this year’s Love Island are Majka and Chris. Their fairy-tale story attracted the most viewers, who treated them to a prize of two million crowns. Venis and Adam finished in second place, and Rachel and Claude took bronze.
The third series of Love Island Czech & Slovakia is over. The finale of the popular reality show was broadcast on Monday, friends, family, and also former winners of the reality show arrived for the spectacular evening.
Thanks to the audience’s votes, Majka Glatzová and Chris Jirout won, followed by Venis Dao and Adam Seder, and Rachel Karnižová and Claude Lhotecký came in third. After the announcement of the winning couple, Chris started going crazy, as hearts and viewers have become accustomed to him. “Yo, we won it, we won, what. We won it,” Chris screamed, cheering along with the other contestants.
Mother couldn’t believe it at all. “You’ve got to be kidding me. I honestly didn’t expect this. I’m in such shock that I’m speechless,” she didn’t hide her emotion. Chris, on the other hand, was at a loss for Czech words when describing his excitement over the win. “I’m crazy excited. It’s so amazing. Just an amazing experience. We had a beautiful fairy tale here and I hope that fairy tale will continue,” Chris believes in tomorrow together.
But the tension did not end there, and a happy ending was far from decided. Majka and Chris were faced with the final test of whether love or money is more important to them. The final task of the winning couple was to draw envelopes. One had money in it, the other was empty.
Majka won two million crowns. So the decision to share them with Chris or not was up to her. “We talked with the girls that whichever one of us wins will keep the money and the three of us will divide it between us. But I choose love,” said Majka, saying that she would split the money with her significant other. The couple wants to use the winnings to travel together.
Majka and Chris’ competition journey was complicated. At first it looked like they wouldn’t understand each other at all. After all, Chris is from America, his Czech is not perfect and he didn’t even understand Slovak properly. But over time, they became one of the most popular and stable couples. But then came a blow that no one expected.
Chris failed the test at Casa Amor. He thought that Majka would find someone else, so he returned from the villa where four new bombshells arrived with Darina, and Majka fell out because of him. But the audience saw that he was sincerely sorry, and thus fought for the return of Majka. Thanks to them, she was finally able to return to the island of love, she forgave Chris, and since then their fairy tale seems to have a happy ending. I hope they stay together happily ever after.
