TV3 Group has announced the launch of cooperation with Universal Music Group, one of the world’s leading music recording groups. As part of the new partnership, the main prize for the winner of the TV3 show “X Faktors” will be an agreement with “Universal Music Group”.
The official partner of the most ambitious musical show “X Faktora” in Latvia has become the music recording giant “Universal Music Group”, which promises the opportunity for young artists to get on the big stage and conquer the top of the music charts. This is the fourth season of the show, which TV3 will offer to its viewers, and we believe that the launch of the collaboration with Universal Music’s young artists will provide even greater opportunities to reach the eyes of people who will see the potential of artists. We are very pleased to be a part of the discovery of new talents, jointly promoting the growth of the music market, ”says Gita Pētersone-Rudzīte, Program Director of TV3 Group in Latvia.
True, even in the previous three seasons, the new X Factor contenders had essentially every opportunity to “come into the sight of people who will see the potential of artists”, as they were taken over by the no less influential Sony Music after the show, but what were the results of this collaboration , Arturs Gruzdins, Belarusian Katie and Elīna Gluzunova could tell best
With the opening of Universal Music’s representative office in Latvia, the music recording company started cooperating with domestic musicians in 2019. Currently, it continues to work with such artists as Patrisha, Aminata, Prusax, Rolands Che and “Singapore Satin”, playing an important role in the development of the Latvian music market. “We are excited to have the opportunity to collaborate with TV3 and the X Factor team and discover talented artists who will become part of the Universal Music family in the future,” says Petri Mannonen, head of Universal Music Group in the Baltics.
It should be noted that the music show “X Faktors” was created by the legendary record and television producer, the famous member of the TV show jury Simon Kauel. Universal Music Group has also signed a cooperation agreement with Kauela company Syco Entertainment to maximize the success of the musicians revealed in the show.
As Abi Doils, Syco’s vice president of international production, comments: “Factor X” has been a stepping stone for several world-famous stars, including One Direction, Leona Lewis, Fifth Harmony, James Arthur, Little Mix, Camila Cabello. We believe that Universal Music’s collaboration with X Factors will mark an exciting start in the lives of young artists, so we are already looking forward to the incredible talent that will be unveiled during the show! ”
