The winner of “Games of Will” revealed how he will spend the 100 vouchers

Whenever I watched shows like “Games of the Will: Bulgaria”, I said to myself: “Now if I enter the game, will I approach it like that? Will I be able to win and move forward?

This was stated on the air of Nova TV by the winner of the second season of the reality show Milen.

This year I was lucky enough to be able to adjust both my personal and professional commitments so that I could apply and see what would happen. It was a big challenge from a sports point of view.

In recent years, I have not had the opportunity to compete as in school – with football, with athletics, and therefore in the games I remembered a thrill that I missed. I am glad that I competed with good athletes and trained athletes.

It brought me thrills, emotions and recharging. There are people who carry the competitive spirit in themselves, and there are those who prefer a calmer atmosphere. I’ve been a racer since I was a child, but the values you have to have in yourself to move forward and perseverance come from upbringing.

“My job is such that the communication is very intense and in recent years there has been no time to completely break away from the work atmosphere.

Even if I leave work for a week or two, I continue to monitor projects and commitments.

“Games of Will: Bulgaria” was a unique opportunity to completely break away from the outside world. To cut off all internet communications, emails, calls. I wondered how this would affect me.

It turned out to be very nice. There is a calm, you think of absolutely nothing. You know that in the next few months, if you are lucky and advance, you will have complete peace of mind. It was very nice for me.

“If I had any worries when I entered the games, there were two things – one was hunger and the other was the lack of people close to me.

My wife and I have shared daily tasks, and at some point when you say you will be away for a few months, you need to ensure good organization so that the other person can handle his or her commitments.

Especially this year with COVID-19, the crisis and everyone around it is a challenge purely from a family point of view. Someone to be able to keep everything at home. The prize from the competition is a resource that must be invested wisely.

I am considering buying a home or supporting such a purchase. I will miss the adrenaline of the race. I experienced a lot of pleasant emotions, “says Milen.

About the medical profession

“Since I was a child, I liked chemistry and biology, and to develop in the field of medicine was the most logical end of my interest. Medicine opens up many possibilities and brings a lot of satisfaction.

The opportunity to help people brings you happiness and I did not face a big dilemma in what professional field to focus on. My love for sports led me to orthopedics.

Milen is currently working in a field related to clinical trials

“They are a process of studying new molecules, new drugs that we are trying to create so that they are better and safer.

This is a strictly regulated process, and before we can launch any molecule or new drug on the market, we must get approval from the world’s largest regulators – the FDA in the United States, the EMA in Europe.

Accordingly, they must be sure that absolutely everything that goes on the market is safer and more reliable than what we have at the moment. We are required to do research on these molecules to prove that they are effective and worth investing in.

Usually, the approval of a new drug can take 5-6 or 10 years, depending on the scale and what it is intended for. The very fact that for about a year now there has been an approved vaccine against COVID-19 is indicative of what resources and energy are invested in finding a solution to this problem.

I am optimistic and believe that the risks of using such a vaccine are much smaller than the potential risk of getting the disease. So let everyone make an informed choice about whether this is best for them. To have the freedom to decide, but also to live with the consequences of his choice.
