The Willis Family’s Heartfelt Support for Bruce Willis Amid Dementia Diagnosis

The family of actor Bruce Willis (68) is always together. She bonded after Willis was revealed to be suffering from frontotemporal dementia. Since then, she has been trying to be by his side all the time, because no one knows how much time he has left.

The Willis family last spent time together at Thanksgiving two weeks ago. A source close to him told the magazine US Weeklythat his condition is rather worse at the moment and the bad days outweigh the good ones.

“This experience has brought the whole family together even more. Nobody knows how much time Bruce has left, so they are enjoying every moment they have with him,” the source said. According to a second source for US Weekly magazine, the entire family practically lives together under one roof.

Bruce has wife Emma (45), ex-wife Demi Moore (61) and daughters Rumer (35), Scout (32), Tallulah (29), Mabel (11) and Evelyn (9). He became a grandfather for the first time in April, daughter Rumer gave birth to a little girl, Louetta.

“When Bruce was diagnosed, the whole family came together to keep his memory of the family intact and to keep reminding him that everyone loves him. There is always at least one family member with him,” the source said.

Willis’ daughter Rumer also often visits her father with her eight-month-old daughter Louetta, because she wants him to be a part of her life and spend some time with her. She recently shared a photo in which she is roughly the same age as her daughter is now. “I really miss my dad today” she wrote Rumor in the label.

“Rumer and her sisters love their father very much. They are very aware that every day could be his last,” added the second source.

Bruce Willis announced last March that he was ending his career due to health reasons. He became ill with aphasia, in which certain areas of the brain are damaged and a person then loses the ability to speak and understand speech to a certain extent. In February of this year, his family published his diagnosis – frontotemporal dementia, the website recalled Page Six.
