He knows how to push through, he knows how to ask for attention, he can make waves. Argentine UFC fighter Ailin Perez is known for showing off to fans, her social media is somewhat of a den of vice. Ailin dedicated them mostly to spicy posts that tease fans. Her internet activity might make it seem like her fighting career is just a sideline. However, such an appearance is deceptive. The South American fighter has big plans in the cage as well.
A French mission awaits Perez already this Saturday. At the UFC tournament in Paris, she will test her skills against Darya Zheleznyakova. You can watch the gala evening on Telly. However, she does not focus too much on her opponent. Perez expects to playfully make her laugh and is already starting to plan other trials.
The feisty fighter is currently number 15 in the bantam division, she has a record of 3-1 in the UFC, she has a streak of three wins, which also includes the scalp of Lucie Pudilova. He has a 10-2 record overall.
So there is no doubt that she is an elite fighter, but she herself has an even better opinion of herself. She would also trust the star Kayla Harrison in the fight.
“To be honest with you, I feel that the match (with Zheleznyak) is easy. I don’t know how else to express it. She is a good boxer, her foundation is boxing, but as an MMA fighter? That does not reach my level,” she believed si Perez before Saturday’s test in an interview with MMA Junkie and began planning her next fight moves.
“When I get her done, I’m going to ask my friend (UFC boss) Dana White for a high-profile fight, preferably against Kayla Harrison,” Perez said, targeting one of the top fighters in women’s MMA.
For many years, Harrison paid for the biggest star of the PFL overseas organization, she also shone on the Olympic stage in the past. He has been a part of the UFC since this spring and is heading towards the king’s bantamweight crown with a confident step. Perez would like to stop these efforts of hers. However, he has other names hidden up his sleeve.
“We’re still pushing for that fight because that’s the fight I need to prove I’m worth fighting for. And if not, Norma (Dumont) is the next option. If she stops running away from me. Or I’d like to fight Julianna Peña, who is just a punching bag,” the Argentinian wild girl leaned into other big names from the division before returning to her traditional promotion.
