Although all the main WSE indices ended Friday’s session with green, it is difficult to talk about sustaining Thursday’s wave of optimism. The changes were slight, as was the turnover. The second plan companies, including XTPL and Erbud, deserved attention.

The last session of the week was going to be interesting. The main index of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, two very much weak sessions at the end of June and one strong on the first day of July stood a bit at a crossroads and Friday’s trading could give an answer to the real sentiment on the WSE. However, investors did not receive a clear answer.

For most of the Friday’s session, the WIG20 index was clearly above the line, but at the end of the day it slowed down a bit and, although it saved its gains, they were only limited to 0.07%. As a result, sluggish green also appeared on the WIG (+0.29%), and the sWIG80 ended the day with a slight change (+0.37%). There was a bit more on mWIG40, where the increases reached 0.77 percent. It is also worth adding that the turnover was pale. This ratio for the broad market was only PLN 812 million.

Dino and Asseco were the leaders of the WIG20 increases – both companies gained slightly more than 2 percent. The increase was also recorded, among others, by CD Projekt (+0.8%) and Santander (+0.6%). First unveiled the cards on the mobile game “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” – the premiere will take place on July 21. In the case of the Spanish-controlled bank, it is worth noting that investors were not scared subsequent provisions for foreign currency loans. On the other hand, Santander stated that can allocate up to 30% on dividends net profit for 2020.

On the downward side, there are mainly companies controlled by the State Treasury. Out of eight inheritance companies, as many as seven met this criterion, and Mercator was the only exception. However, these drops were not particularly strong, no company lost more than 2 percent, losses over 1 percent. There were three of them – PGE, PKO BP and KGHM.

On the broad market, attention was drawn to, among others, XTPL papers. The company announced in the morning’s announcement that accepted and confirmed the order placed by the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie – Lichttechnisches Institut for the delivery of a demonstration device for the Delta Printing System printer. XTPL shares ended Friday’s session with an increase of 6.66%, although it is worth noting that a strong upward move with increased turnover could already be observed on Thursday.

Erbud also had a very successful day (+ 5.9 percent). The company has been growing for several weeks, which – as we explained in a recent article – can be associated with the offer of Onde, i.e. a company from the Erbud group that is going to the stock exchange. On Thursday after the session we know the final price of Onde shares in the offer and it amounted to PLN 26, so as much as assumed in the maximum plan. As a result, Erbud’s portfolio includes a very attractively valued block of shares. Erbud himself also made money on the offer.
