Georgy Deliev is not embarrassed by the big age difference with his wife.
The first series of “Mask Show” viewers saw on TV in 1991. Fresh humor and non-trivial plots provided the program with the attention of fans. A year later, the program switched to the format of a television series in the style of silent films. But in the new millennium there was no place for it in the channel broadcasting network.
However, the “Mask Show” troupe, with minor changes in its composition, survived and settled in Odessa, where they still work in the “House of Clowns”. And the leader of the artists is still Georgy Deliev.
He is now 62 years old and remembers again what it is like to be a young father. George’s wife died ten years ago. They lived together for 30 years and raised their daughter Yana. At first the girl received a psychological education, but then she chose the path of her father and became a clown.
And the second wife Ekaterina gave birth to Deliev two sons. And the youngest boy in their family was born just last year. The artist calls the 36-year-old woman his muse. He’s not embarrassed by their huge age difference, and also by the fact that his 38-year-old daughter is even older than her own stepmother. And although such a misalliance usually causes a surge of negative emotions among Russians, Georgy tries not to pay attention to someone else’s opinion.
