Al-Marsad Newspaper: The wife of the Iraqi officer, who was referred to retirement and investigation because they celebrated together his promotion in a romantic photo session, broke her silence and revealed the scenes of filming and publishing the clip.
The officer’s wife said, in a video clip she recently shared, that I would like to be clearer about the session that took place between my husband and I, the promotion session, stressing that the pictures are spontaneous and do not contain any offense to the military uniform.
She explained that she and her husband’s family celebrated his new promotion, commenting: “I was happy with the promotion, but the mistake I had was that I did not know that photos were forbidden.”
She added that she had no knowledge of this matter, and that the pictures were shared by some official and unofficial accounts and pages, describing them as vandals, vowing to sue these accounts that abused and transgressed.
