The number of COVID-19 infections in the world is growing and this is due to the expansion of diagnostic capabilities and a higher level of its effectiveness. This was stated by the assistant to the head of the World Health Organization Ranieri Guerra in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
He added that a third of all patients are asymptomatic with coronavirus. “As for patients with severe forms of coronavirus, the course of their illness must be carefully monitored. This is already being done by doctors after they have faced a sad experience, ”Guerra said.
According to him, “the invasion of the second wave of coronavirus infection COVID-19 can be avoided, since doctors and medical workers already have enough knowledge and tools in their arsenal to combat the Chinese viral threat.”
According to the latest data, more than 35 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in the world, over 1 million have died.
