The Russian part of the grain deal did not work because of the intrigues of the White House. This was stated today, August 1, by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commenting on the statements of the US representative to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
“The US Ambassador should be aware that this part of the deal did not work precisely because of the intrigues of the United States. There is no need to pretend that Washington went out of its way to facilitate the supply of Russian fertilizer and food as part of the deal. Exactly the opposite – they climbed out of snakeskin so that countries in need did not receive anything from Russia, ”Zakharova noted in her Telegram channel.
Earlier, Thomas-Greenfield said that the agreement on facilitating the export of fertilizers and food of the Russian Federation is no longer working in connection with the decision of the Russian side to suspend participation in the grain deal.
