For now, the US won’t switch further Patriot anti-aircraft missile programs to Ukraine. This was introduced by the American Minister of Protection Lloyd Austin at a press convention after a gathering of the Contact Group on the Protection of Ukraine (Ramstein-23), which was held in Brussels, a UNIAN correspondent stories.
Austin was requested if the US would ship a further Patriot system to Ukraine, on condition that Germany has already introduced supply of 1 and Italy has promised to ship the SAMP/T.
The US Secretary of Protection responded that the difficulty of air protection has been on the prime of the agenda for a very long time. In accordance with him, for months he has emphasised the significance of offering Ukraine with further air protection capabilities.
