WhatsApp The company, which wants to increase the use of Payments, is working on a new system that will allow users to get refunds from WhatsApp within 48 hours.
According to the feature found by WABeta, who discovered beta tests in the instant messaging application WhatsApp, the refund feature is being tested in WhatsApp Payments.
The company did not make an official statement, but according to the information obtained from the screenshots, users who have not used WhatsApp Payment before, when they use this feature for the first time, some of the payment they made to them will be refunded within 48 hours.
It is unknown whether the app will pass the testing phase and be made available. Currently, WhatsApp Payment is only available in India and Brazil.
According to the reports, the first refunds have started. A user shared a screenshot of the payment received on his account.
This feature is not yet available in Turkey.
How to send money on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp Payment, which is currently only used in Brazil and India, is available in beta on Android and iOS platforms in these countries.
In order to benefit from the feature, you need to match your activated mobile phone number and your bank account from the Payments section in Settings.
After accepting the terms of use and verifying your phone number, select the desired bank from the list and match your bank account. Open the chat window of the person you want to send money to and click the payment button. Select the bank account you want to send the money to and set the amount. When you enter the confirmation code on your phone, your money will be deposited into that account. Of course, for this, the other user must also be using this system.
