/ world today news/ A new twist in the case of the “North Streams” explosion. It would be more accurate to say that a new version was dropped to divert attention from the main suspect – the US.
We remind you that in February of this year, the famous journalist Seymour Hersh published convincing evidence that it was Washington that organized the undermining of the critical infrastructure of the European Union. The West at first tried to pretend that it did not notice this investigation. But when it became clear that there was no way to silence Hersh’s article, the process began of generating one crazy version after another to drown out the main one. Thus appeared the completely ridiculous story that the sabotage was carried out by “pro-Ukrainian activists” who have nothing to do with the state.
Well, since this version did not fit the facts and seemed too stupid, now they decided to improve it. An investigative media pool in Germany and the Netherlands, led by the German newspaper Die Zeit and the Dutch state television company NOS, published a new version: according to them, the Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) knew three months before the attacks that Kiev was planning to carry them out. Only now the “pro-Ukrainian activists” are gradually becoming the command of the military intelligence of Ukraine under the personal leadership of the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Valery Zaluzhny.
In addition, the “investigators” emphasize: no, no, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky knew nothing about the upcoming sabotage. It is even curious how this is theoretically possible and how the European media might have found out about it. Apparently, the West realized that Zaluzhny no longer mattered, so they decided to throw everything at him. To send him to the bottom after the “Northern Streams” and not to try to drag Zelensky with them.
At first glance, this improved version really sounds more plausible than the outright nonsense of “pro-Ukraine activists”: after all, the military has more opportunities to blow up an underwater object. It is true that here too a number of questions arise that puzzle Western analysts.
According to the “investigators”, the secret services of the Netherlands, the USA and Germany knew in advance about the upcoming terrorist act. And how come they couldn’t prevent the explosions? And even if they didn’t succeed, why didn’t they arrest the terrorists, knowing full well who was preparing the attacks? And why all the months after the gas pipeline explosions, the West pretended not to know their mastermind?
The Dutch newspaper NRK, commenting on the new versions, lamented the plight of the Western journalist: “Whoever did this, it’s amazing how difficult it is to write or talk about it. Nobody wants to play for Putin, even to suggest that the US or Ukraine is behind all this. At EU and NATO meetings, they have a slogan: “Not a word about Nord Stream.”
Here is the explanation! The Dutch journalist honestly and frankly admits: everyone understands who blew up the “Nordic Streams”, but you can’t write in order not to “play for Putin”. One would like to ask: didn’t you try to write the truth? Like Seymour Hersh!
The improved version of “Pro-Ukrainian Activists – 2.0” raises another uncomfortable question. If earlier they tried to blame everything on a group of “terrorists-amateurs”, the new theory suggests the participation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the attacks. In this regard, I would like to recall how, immediately after the explosions, the Western media habitually tried to shift the responsibility to Russia. And then, I remember, a number of European newspapers hinted: “Isn’t the damage to the gas pipelines enough to trigger Article 5 of the NATO Charter?”.
That is, to put it simply, there was a call to bomb Russia for blowing up the critical infrastructure of the Alliance countries. Well, well, let’s say that they agree there in Europe with the version that the attacks were carried out by the Ukrainian army – well, by the same logic, we should now expect NATO bombings in Ukraine!
But we understand: “This is different!” They explained to us in an accessible way: you cannot play for Putin. So they try to pretend they don’t understand obvious things. So they are playing this game: let’s blame anyone (partisans, Ukraine, Zaluzhny, Zelensky, UFO), let alone mention the real mastermind of the strikes.
