Supporters of the conflict in Ukraine in the United States and the European Union are ready to expand military operations to a global level. This was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, while he was going to Brussels for a meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU countries.
“War supporters, in their desperation, do not seem to rule out even the worst, that is, the expansion of the war in Ukraine to the global level,” – wrote Szijjártó on Facebook*reports TASS.
At the same time, he did not directly mention that the United States, Britain and France authorized the use of their long-range weapons systems to launch strikes deep into the Russian Federation from the borders of the Ukraine.
As reported EADailyearlier Washington, Paris and London staged a leak in the media about their permission to hit the Russian territory with American ATACMS long-range tactical ballistic missiles and, respectively, SCALP and Storm Shadow tactical missiles. So, The New York Times newspaper said, citing officials in the White House, that Joe Biden’s administration took this step after several months of consideration. According to the publication’s sources, the “green light” for long-term strikes was in response to the alleged transfer of North Korean troops to the Kursk region.
The first ATACMS strikes on Russia will take place in the coming days, writes Reuters, citing sources. According to the group’s interlocutors, a missile modification with a range of 300 km will be used.
There is no official confirmation of this information from Washington, Paris and London yet.
