“Western countries try to distort the reality of Gaza to justify the atrocities of the Zionists and legitimize these crimes”: this was said by the Israeli Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, in a meeting last night with Syrian President Bashar Assad. “They urge all parties to the conflict to show restraint, with the exception of the Zionist regime,” he added. “The United States cannot call for restraint and in the meantime provide military support to the Zionist regime to use it against the Palestinians,” said Amirabdollahian, who arrived in Damascus last night, on the third stop of his tour of the region, which has already taken him to Iraq and Lebanon. “The brutal killing of people in Gaza by the Zionists, the bombing and the siege of this area are a war crime”, he added, quoted by IRNA, underlining that the Resistance is able to stand up to long against Israel.
