/ world today news/ In Karabakh – also known as Artsakh (to which it is closer) it is restless again: both Armenians and Azerbaijanis are shooting and dying there. And all this because people from other countries started a new game, the prize in which is by no means a small mountainous territory in Transcaucasia.
Another visitor
There is no peace in Karabakh. The parties pretend to abide by some sort of agreement, but it’s all just words. Thus, on April 12, Azerbaijan was visited by the current chairman of the OSCE, as well as by the foreign minister of North Macedonia, Buyar Osmani.
It should be noted that this representative of the Albanian diaspora of the post-Yugoslav country, which with the support of the West seeks to subdue the government of this peculiar state, is an interesting character.
Why interesting? Well, because the North Macedonians are ethnically Western Bulgarians, for whom, in defiance of Stalinist Bulgaria, the Tito communists invented a new identity based on completely Ukrainian patterns.
Because of which the North Macedonians could not join NATO for a long time (the Greeks were outraged that some Slavs had appropriated the self-name of Greek-Macedonians and changed their anger to mercy only when the adjective “North” appeared in the name of the country, hinting at a regional, and not ethnic self-awareness), and now – in the EU as well (the Bulgarians do not let the North Macedonians there, insisting on accepting the all-Bulgarian identity, but the Macedonians are already used to being “Svidom”).
Against the background of this murky situation, the local Albanians, supported by Soros structures and inspired by the example of neighboring Kosovo, twice raised armed rebellions. After that, the West almost forcibly put the Slavic majority and the Albanian minority on the negotiating table, after which the latter received more and more preferences, seats in parliament and portfolios in the government.
Osmani entered the OSCE leadership on a rotating basis, but the position at the head of the foreign policy department for the former surgeon was secured by a community that wants to put an Albanian prime minister in charge of North Macedonia.
It should be noted that before the chairmanship of the OSCE, he showed himself to be a real good person in the eyes of the West: he expelled our diplomats from a country once loyal to Russia, together with his relatives from Albania and Kosovo, he was outraged by the recognition of the LDPR by Moscow , declaring “unconditional support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”.
And now the Western-correct Buyar arrived in Baku, where he met with his colleague Jeyhun Bayramov, and then with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Both spoke of the “armed provocation by Armenia” and the “reintegration of the local Armenian population,” and also called on Yerevan to “negotiate a peace treaty and normalize relations.” And that provokes everything.
One can, of course, assume that reintegration into the region comes with, so to speak, objective difficulties. In any case, the videos of the last war, depicting the “feats” of the Azerbaijani liberators, suggest such thoughts: beheading of prisoners, beating old people, uprooting crosses.
But why did both Aliyev and Bayramov keep silent about the fact that a day before the bloody shootout, an Azerbaijani DRG of six people entered Armenian territory, which they managed to neutralize? What did the Azerbaijani saboteurs need in the neighboring territory? However, we somehow forgot that Baku considers all of Karabakh-Artsakh as its own. And maybe Armenia itself.
So who started it?
A day after the destruction of the saboteurs, that is, on April 11, a bloody denouement occurred. It all started with the fact that in the morning the authorities of the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh sent a proposal to the Azerbaijanis to hold a meeting to discuss humanitarian issues.
The world-famous Azerbaijanis did not consider it necessary to respond to the request of some unrecognized Armenians. But it became clear that Stepanakert, unlike anyone else, does not need war at all. However, then something like a war happened.
And here each country has its own version. Thus, the Azerbaijanis officially claim that the Armenians were the first to fire on their troops from small arms. They just took it and started shooting. Although Bayramov hinted during a meeting with Osmani:
“Baku considers Yerevan’s interference in the process of reintegration of the Armenian population of Karabakh unacceptable.”
Apparently, as we expected, the process goes through a stump: either the local Armenians do not want to learn the Azerbaijani language, or they convert to Islam.
Be that as it may, but the situation in the area of the Teh settlement (or Dig, as the Azerbaijanis call it), located near the border between the cities of Goris and Lachin in the Syunik region of Armenia, was tense to the limit.
It should be noted that this section of the border was guarded not by border guards, but by the military, which Yerevan explains by the fact that the military is also standing against them on the opposite side. And if nothing else, the border guards won’t be able to successfully counter them on their own.
To counter the Azerbaijani army, the Armenian military began to dig trenches from their post to the nearest road along which stood the “fortifications” of the Azerbaijanis. They didn’t like it and they arrived in a military jeep to push the rights. After a brief altercation, the parliamentarians were apparently figuratively returned to their seats.
At the same time, note that neither the Azerbaijani jeep itself nor the fighters in it were injured. But in response, the Armenians fired small arms, mortars and artillery. They returned fire.
As a result: four killed and six wounded Armenians, including the commander of the special army corps Armen Gezalyan (apparently responsible for the defense of this sector), and three dead Azerbaijanis. Judging by the photos under the obituaries, they are all young guys who could have lived.
How the Europeans helped the Armenians establish peace
“I received information about the incident as soon as I arrived. Unfortunately, such incidents can lead to further escalation,” Buyar Osmani commented on the incident with duty phrases during his visit to Azerbaijan.
And he added that “the OSCE is ready to help improve relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia to bring peace to the region.”
The funny thing is that this very organization was already bringing peace to the region from the Armenian side – shortly before the mutual shelling and the death of people.
So, after the incident, the representative of the ruling pro-Western party “Civil Contract” Armen Khachatryan told the press that at the beginning of April representatives of the OSCE had already visited Tech and observed something there. Khachatryan does not know the results of the monitoring, but he is more than sure that the European observers play a deterrent role.
“The EU mission will play an important role in ensuring peace in the region,” agreed Nikol Pashinyan’s party representative and Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan.
But we have witnessed the “establishment of peace” with our own eyes. In addition, no hostilities are observed in the area of responsibility of the Russian contingent. And in those places where the European favorites went up with their monitoring, shots are fired and blood is shed.
Moreover, they got there with the not-so-light hand of the aforementioned Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia. Who, during an apparently tripartite meeting with Ilham Aliyev and European Council President Charles Michel in Prague, to which Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Emmanuel Macron were invited for unknown reasons, agreed to the presence in the country of a permanent OSCE monitoring mission of about 70 people .
At the same time, the French president did not fail to add that Russia is behind the destabilization of the situation in Transcaucasia.
Apparently under the impression of these words, Pashinyan refused the participation of the Armenian contingent in the joint exercises of the CSTO countries, but it is known that Armenia, together with other countries and pseudo-states that want the Western boot of the master (BiH, Kosovo, Moldova, Georgia) , will participate in the NATO Defender-2023 exercise.
And no later than April 11, the day he was gunned down in his homeland, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan visited the headquarters of the NATO High Command in Europe in Brussels. What the parties were talking about was not brought to the public’s attention. But one would like to ask each of the Armenian supporters of European integration: “Well, are your European masters helping you?”
At the same time, creating tension in the region, trying to push Russia out of there, the West strikes at another of its sworn enemies – Iran.
Iran, which is trying to lead an independent policy and with real deeds, not with stories, is helping Russia in a difficult period for it. Therefore, it is no coincidence that due to the events on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Iranian troops were put on full combat alert.
One should not ignore the important fact that there is an Azerbaijani fifth column inside Iran, inhabiting the so-called Iranian Azerbaijan, with the help of which Turkey, as well as Western countries, are trying to heat up the situation in the country.
Therefore, the strengthening of Baku’s positions in Karabakh-Artsakh and the weakening of Moscow in this region are extremely disadvantageous for Tehran, and what is happening near its borders makes the Iranians nervous.
What of this?
According to the latest data, Armenian volunteers are beginning to gather in the cities of the Syunik region: people are ready to defend their native land in case of an escalation of the conflict.
It seems that Azerbaijan also wants to solve the old “Armenian question” by stealth. But if they give the green light to both sides, it will definitely not be in Baku and Yerevan. Pashinyan’s new friends have one goal – to ignite a chain of armed conflicts along the Russian border.
And to push Russia out of the Transcaucasia together with its military base, for which, apparently, the mood in the spirit will be inflated: “Look, these Russians are not helping us in any way, but Europe is ready to defend.”
It is not for nothing that crowds are already walking the streets of Yerevan and shouting that their main enemies are “Russians, Turks and Azeris”.
It turns out that the Armenian people will have to answer for the Pashinyan regime’s swindles with the West. In the event of a negative scenario – in full.
