Sup3r5 is a brand new website, launched in December last year, and began accepting pre-orders for custom black PS5 consoles. Careful players pointed out that this company has no history in the past and has not produced any products.
Today Sup3r5 issued an announcement on Twitter. They claimed to have received a “trusted” security threat, confirming that they are canceling all orders for the black version of the PS5 console and will refund if the payment has been made.
Foreign media believe that this site was a scam from the beginning, because they can boast that they have 304 limited-edition PS5 consoles when Sony is out of stock.
Sup3r5 also said that 54,000 people have put the console on their wish list. Obviously many players are interested in this limited-edition PS2 themed PS5 console.
As a new team that has not launched any product, this is a red flag, and it is very likely a scam, even though someone on Reddit has stated that they have received their refund.
