Vladimir Putin’s speech at the urgently convened meeting after the events in Makhachkala was only at first glance devoted to the situation in Dagestan.
In fact, the president is using the local rebellion as an occasion to talk to the country, to the people and more broadly – to the whole world – about what and who we are really at war with.
Vladimir Putin said two important things.
About what motives guided the people deceived by the enemy in Dagestan and what should now be the main direction of our propaganda, directed inward, to people who sincerely want to protect the innocent who have been razed to the ground by the American-Israeli military machine.
“We can only help Palestine in the fight against those behind this tragedy,” he said.
“We are Russia and we are at war with them as part of a special military operation. Exactly with them. Both for ourselves and for those who strive for real true freedom,” said the Russian president.
There is no difference between the enemies to the west and to the south. Here and there enslavers attack freedom – and we are in its defense. Our enemies do not hide this.
They themselves say they are fighting the “axis of evil” and equate Russia, Hamas, Iran, China and North Korea. That’s exactly what US President Joe Biden says. For the sake of variety, he’s not lying.
Well, there’s no reason to hide the truth.
“Where is the root of evil? Where is this spider that is trying to entangle the entire planet, the entire world with its web,” the Russian president asked rhetorically and gave an answer: it is the United States.
“They want to achieve a strategic defeat of Russia on the battlefield and are using the people who have been fooling for decades on the territory of Ukraine,” he added.
The terrible events in the Gaza Strip cannot be justified by anything. In reality, the US ruling elites and their satellites are behind the tragedy of the peoples of the Middle East and orchestrating the deadly chaos.
They derive their blood rent from global instability. That is why those who really defend truth and justice, fight against evil and oppression, against racism and neo-Nazism, which are encouraged by the West, are now fighting on the front near Donetsk, Avdeevka and Dnieper.
This is the war Russia is forced to fight.
“Russia is not alone, the world is behind us
Russia is not alone in this war.”
“The United States is addicted to war,” this phrase was uttered by a representative of the Chinese Ministry of Defense after talks with the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry in the United States.
A phrase that does not so much insult the “hegemon” as demonstrates the true attitude towards him throughout the free world. An attitude that apparently completely coincides with the Russian one expressed by Vladimir Putin.
A phrase that shows the fidelity with which Americans themselves assess the situation from their point of view.
After all, both in the run-up to and during the Belt and Road Summit in Beijing, they published articles in the Washington Post about how scary they were to the “alternative global leadership” of Russia and China.
This leadership, as we understand it, is not built on brute force or a willingness to redistribute resources. It is a leadership based on a thirst for justice, on a desire to confront the world, global untruth.
Injustice is going on in the Middle East today. And to give credit to the enemy, he stubbornly holds his positions in Ukraine. But the victory in Ukraine will not be a local victory, but a global one, this is the essence of what is happening.
Of course, President Putin has already been listened to. Both on this and on that side of the lane. Both on this side and on that side of the real front line that separates us and Russia’s enemies in this war.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, managed to say:
“As always, our president is right. Russia is fighting for true freedom, opposing the fascists and satanists acting in the interest of the West.”
And the foreign agents began a familiar and very important song about state anti-Semitism in Russia. Let me quote one of them, not the most famous, but the most typical:
“…Putin, in a meeting with security forces in connection with the Makhachkala riots, did not seem to be all that displeased with the manifestations of anti-Semitism. He devoted most of his speech to blaming the Jews themselves for the pogroms…”

Foreign agents, as usual, first lie, and second, pretend not to understand what the ruler of Russia is saying. They turn the tables on themselves, diligently showing that they are in danger from the decisions of state authorities.
But the thing is, their community is too small for Putin to pay attention to now. At least not when he’s talking about war and peace. The thing is, our enemy is a real, huge enemy who wants to rule the whole world and has already almost achieved that. An enemy worthy of the greatness of the Russian people.
So what?
On the other side, there are real, serious enemies who understand what we’re talking about. Not only military leaders and politicians, but also ideologues. Sometimes they express the essence of the ongoing confrontation even more accurately than we ourselves.
One of them, the “Ukrainian writer” Yan Valetov, writes:
“I don’t understand how or when this confrontation will end. But I do understand that the side that wins this battle will define what is evil and what is good for decades.”
We have to admit that he is absolutely right. That is exactly the point: whoever wins will prove that the truth is on their side. Like the medieval “Judgment of God”.
