The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable weather affects Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, with temperatures within their seasonal averages, accompanied by activity in wind speeds that return to intensify on Sunday, approaching 90 km / h, especially in the northern regions; accompanied by a noticeable rise.” with temperatures above their seasonal averages,” noting that “the average temperature for the month of February is between 13 and 21.7 degrees Celsius.”
And it indicated in its evening bulletin, that “the expected weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Saturday, is slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with medium and high clouds, with a slight drop in temperatures, and the humidity remains high, causing fog to form on the heights; and the winds are active at times.”
And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The expected weather for Sunday is partly cloudy with high clouds, with a noticeable rise in temperatures and a decrease in humidity, and the winds are active, approaching 50 km / h during the day, then intensifying to reach 90 km / h in the north, and it will be loaded with light layers of dust. The weather turns cloudy in the evening, with a decrease in temperatures and an increase in humidity on Sunday night / Monday dawn, so the weather is ready for cloudy drizzle, especially in the southern and northern regions.
And it indicated that “the weather expected on Monday is partly cloudy to cloudy, with a significant decrease in temperatures and an increase in humidity, so fog will form on the heights, and the weather will be ready for light and muddy local rains, while the winds will be active, especially in the northern regions.”
The department added, “The surface winds are southeasterly at night, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h. Swelling is medium and gets worse at medium elevations. The relative humidity on the coast is between 35 and 80%. The sea is agitated, and the water surface temperature is 18 degrees Celsius.”
