The weather this weekend will be good

In the last week, large parts of the country have been bathed in sun and southern temperatures. It has been between 20 and 25 degrees in several places, and in some areas it has even been warmer.

Northern Norway has also been able to take part in the fun. On Thursday, Troms and Finnmark were visited by the year’s first high summer day with temperatures above 25 degrees.

– Towards the weekend, the summer continues for most people in the country, says state meteorologist Pernille Borander to Dagbladet.

She can tell that the good summer weather news in the future seems to be fairly evenly distributed between the regions.

Friday will be the country’s weather winner

It will be great weather throughout southern Norway on Friday, according to the state meteorologist

– Friday will be the best day in general for the whole country, except in the far south of Agder and Rogaland, says Borander.

– There will be the occasional shower in Eastern Norway, but it will be mostly warm and nice on Friday.

She says that the summer has also come to northern Norway with over 25 degrees in Troms and Finnmark on Thursday.

– Finally, the summer came to northern Norway as well. It will probably be a little more cloudy in the next few days, but on Friday it will be between 20 and 25 degrees in Nordland and in the inner regions of Troms and Finnmark.

It will be cooler in the outer areas of Troms and Finnmark, with temperatures around 15 degrees. There will still be long periods of sun, according to Borander.

Summer continues on Saturday

She says that it is still dry in the air, and that Saturday will therefore be a very nice and warm day in Eastern Norway.

– In Eastern Norway and in Trøndelag it will be between 20 and 25 degrees on Saturday.

Western Norway will have temperatures of 20-22 degrees.

– There will probably be a shower or two in Western Norway, but Saturday will generally be a nice day for southern Norway.

Saturday will be a little cooler for Nordland, but temperatures around 20 degrees are still reported.

– The inner regions of Troms and Finnmark will also have cooler air, and the temperature here will be around 15 degrees.

For Western Norway, there will be extra heavy showers both on Saturday and Sunday, while Trondheim will get heavier showers on Sunday, according to Borander.

Sunday can be cooler

On Sunday, some afternoon showers are expected in southern Norway that may make it a little cooler, but it will still be a lot of sun.

– It will be a very nice day for Southern Norway on Sunday as well, with temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees for both Eastern Norway and Trøndelag. Western Norway gets around 20 degrees.

Borander says that it can also be more cloudy on Sunday, and that we are now in the season for afternoon showers. This applies to the whole of southern Norway, but she points especially to Western Norway.

– Now we have had dry days with little moisture in the air, and then no showers have formed. This weekend there will be more moisture in the atmosphere, and then there will be a greater probability of showers in southern Norway.

The state meteorologist says that these afternoon showers can come locally, and that it can rain well with the neighbor even if it is completely dry with you.

– Sunday in northern Norway will be quite similar to Saturday. There may be some rain showers in Nordland, but I do not think the temperatures will change that much.

The great weather continues until the week

The start of the week seems to be quite similar to the weekend weather, according to the State Meteorologist.

– It will be high pressure weather the first part of the week, and the nice weather and the high temperatures in southern Norway continue, with some afternoon showers.

In northern Norway it will be a bit cloudy, but the temperatures will be around 15 degrees at the beginning of the week. At the end of the week, there will be more precipitation in the north, according to Borander.

– It will be exciting to see how long the fine weather lasts.
