– Pretty much the whole country will have good weather today. With the exception of the coastal areas in Western Norway, the temperature will exceed 20 degrees Celsius almost everywhere.
This is what meteorologist on duty at the Meteorological Institute, Haldis Berge, told Dagbladet on Saturday morning.
The best weather will be found in Eastern Norway, where the temperature will rise to 24 degrees Celsius.
In connection with the fine weather, a moderate UV warning has also been issued.
– Then it is recommended that you apply at least factor 30, says the meteorologist.
If you’ve been thinking about the beach, it still pays to get out quickly, at least if you live in Western Norway.
Local afternoon showers are expected here.
– It will also cloud more during the evening and there will be some rain this evening, says Berge.
The front gradually moves eastwards and on Sunday there will also be more clouds and precipitation in Eastern Norway.
That could mean a wet start to the country’s biggest football tournament, the Norway Cup, which starts on Sunday.
– On Sunday there is a chance of thunder in the capital. We can see the same in Trøndelag.
– Will the rain continue next week?
– It will vary greatly, but it is a bit too early to say anything about when the sun will appear and when it will rain.
