The weekend will not be much to cheer about, we must believe the meteorologist. The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain in the north of Innlandet county from Friday evening to night until Sunday.
«Be aware that this precipitation will at times come as snow on the high mountain peaks», they write.

– It will not be a great weekend, but there will be some periods of stay that will last for a while. Many places will also see the sun during the weekend, says Skjervagen to Dagbladet.

In Oslo, the temperature can reach 20 degrees. In Bergen and along the coast up towards Stavanger, it can be around 15 degrees. Places in the Inland can drop over 15 degrees, the meteorologist elaborates.
At the beginning of next week, the low pressure over southern Norway will continue.
– On Monday, it will probably rain in most places in southern Norway at some point.
On Tuesday, however, it looks like the weather will be fine in most places, except on the coast furthest east, the meteorologist explains.
– Down towards Sørlandet and parts of Moss and the Oslo Fjord, it seems that a new low pressure may come in, which can cause some precipitation. The rest of southern Norway will have very nice weather, also beyond Wednesday, says Skjervagen.
On Thursday, however, it seems that rain will be scattered in most places.
– But the trend is that it gets nicer. The low pressure must have pulled away a bit, and that helps, says the meteorologist.

Weather winner
When there is a low pressure that ends up over southern Norway, the weather will usually be fine in northern Norway, the meteorologist explains.
Skjervagen declares Northern Norway the weather winner for this time.
Here there is generally a little less precipitation than in southern Norway, she explains.
– During Friday there will be some rain. However, Nordland will get the best out of it.
The rain will subside, and on Saturday and Sunday it will be very nice, according to the meteorologist.
