– In inland and higher-lying areas, there may be 10 to 30 centimeters of snow, meteorologists say.
On-duty meteorologist Martin Granerød tells Dagbladet that the largest amount of snow will probably come in Agder and West Telemark, where you can expect around 30 centimeters of snow locally.
– There may also be even more. But this applies to mountain areas and cottage areas, says Granerød.
–
Granerød says that at mountain passes there will be a lot of wind, stiff to strong winds, which means that challenges must be expected here Wednesday night and beyond Thursday.
– What gives this weather is a strong low pressure that is out in the North Sea and the Norwegian Sea, which sets up a precipitation area towards the South and East, the meteorologist explains.
Further down the coast, this will probably start as sleet and snow, before it increases as you move inwards and upwards in the country. Farthest south it can also come as rain.
