The Euboean capital put on its festive decorations, ready to welcome Christmas after and the lighting of the emblematic tree at sea.
The curtain of the events “opened” on the pier of Agios Nikolaos, with the lighting of the Christmas tree on land and the “rooted” Christmas trees in the sea, in the Evripos strait.
Young and old, residents and visitors of the Municipality of Chalkide, counted down and spread the value of the holidays, filling the souls with love, hope and optimism.
The event was attended by: Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Chalkide, Evripios Choir, Area 51 Group.
The start of the events was made by the president of DOAPPEK, Eleni Aidini, and immediately after, the mayor Elena Vaka took the floor, who, after wishing happy holidays to the whole world, counted down to the lighting of the Christmas tree.
