The Washington Train headed by “Leopoldo, María Corina and Edmundo” will be “prosecuted,” warns Maduro

President Nicolás Maduro celebrated this Thursday, during his program “Maduro Live de Repente”, the approval in the second discussion of the Organic Law Liberator Simón Bolívar against the Imperialist Blockade and in Defense of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela that will prosecute those who have attacked the country.

The head of state indicated that the Law will prosecute those who have attacked the peace and tranquility of the country. Among them, he accused the far-rightists Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, María Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia, who, in his opinion, make up the “Washington Train.”

“The Washington Train, the Sayona Train, in which are Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, Sayona, the old gozón and drunk, González Urrutia (…) This Law is going to prosecute them,” he said.

He reiterated that they were the same ones who supported the so-called Bolívar Law, recently approved by the United States to harm the country.

In that same context, the head of state spoke with deputies Carlos Mogollón and Tania Díaz about the approval of this law and, in that sense, Díaz stressed that the Liberator Simón Bolívar Organic Law will strengthen the defense of the Venezuelan people against attacks; Furthermore, he will do justice to those who harm the country.

For his part, Mogollón explained that the law opens a way to judge in absentia those who request, promote and profit from the sanctions, and after this flee the country. In addition, those who have promoted or requested sanctions against Venezuela are politically disqualified for up to 60 years and the law is also in defense of the direct victims of the sanctions and, he reiterated, that the crime of treason against the Homeland will have the maximum penalty of 30 years, as established by the National Constitution.
