The Washington Post: Iran may back off from the decision to launch a retaliatory attack against Israel for this reason!

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Washington Post, citing American officials, said that Iran may have abandoned launching a retaliatory attack against Israel, following American warnings.

According to White House officials, this change of opinion is the result of the US government’s show of force last week, and Washington’s secret warning to Iran through the Swiss embassy and the Iranian representative’s office at the United Nations.

The American newspaper said that although Iranian authorities publicly confirmed that Haniyeh was killed by a bullet, they secretly believe that he may have been killed by a bomb explosion that was planted in the room of his residence in Tehran.
