The Warriors have a complicated file with Jonathan Kuminga, who has been on the bench for a few games. Should we retain the interior at all costs? The front office in any case refused his requests during the offseason.
While the Warriors string of victories, the franchise was full of confidence this Saturday evening by dominating the Rockets, with a score of 127-121. Buddy Hield continues to be hot, while Jonathan Kuminga, whether he is starting or on the bench, has put together some great performances. But his case raises questions for the future.
Despite his good games initially, Kerr recently decided to bench him. Enough to annoy some supporters NBAespecially when we know that JK did not reach an agreement with the Dubs for a contract extension during the summer. There were discussions to find common ground, but the offer was not the right one.
A departure in sight for the Warriors?
We know more about the summer negotiations, and the cause behind this failure. Unsurprisingly, it is the amount of salary that is the problem, with Golden State believing that Kuminga has a lot to prove on an NBA floor. A difference of a few million in the end, but enough to derail a deal.
