The Warriors don’t give up

The Golden State Warriors can say thank you to Steph Curry. The star player allowed his team to level the NBA Finals by leading them to a 106-97 victory over the Celtics on Friday in Boston.

Although he was hampered by a leg injury, Curry had a double-double of 43 points and 10 rebounds. He also reached 11th in NBA history in Finals assists, amassing four on Friday.

The Celtics, however, led by five points at halftime. The efforts of Jayson Tatum (23 points, 11 rebounds) and Jaylen Brown (21 points, six rebounds) were not enough late in the game.

On the side of the Warriors, Andrew Wiggins was imperial around the ring by collecting 16 rebounds. Widely criticized in the last few days, Draymond Green managed only one of his seven shots, but contributed to the gain of his team by amassing 9 rebounds and eight assists.

The Warriors will try to shine in front of their fans and take a series lead on Monday at Chase Center.
