A man started building private bomb shelters. Desislav Panov’s business revolves only around the construction of bunkers, and according to him, since the start of the war in Ukraine, calls to him have increased by 500 percent.
“People are scared and that’s understandable. We have K-19, different strains have appeared, now there is a war and prevention is needed,” he told Nova TV.
“The private bunker cannot be shown to the public, and unfortunately the state does not have enough public bunkers because they are neglected,” Panov said.
“A private bunker is made of reinforced concrete because it provides stability and absorbs radioactive radiation. It is a home where you can spend days, months of accidents and crises, so that you maintain your mental resilience and when you leave the facility to be in good condition.
The creation of a bunker is a prevention against various accidents. When a situation like this arises, we will have a place to hide while our allies help us. Such a bunker costs as much as a large apartment in the ideal center of Sofia. It is equipped with everything – dining room, kitchen, sofas, bedrooms, gym and sauna, “he said.
