The war stopped the Aegean fish from migrating north

Crimean horse mackerel stressed, hiding in the riot in “Asparuhovo”

A complete shock is set for fishermen at sea this spring. On the eve of May 24, when the fish from the Bosphorus traditionally come, there is no mention of them.

We are talking about horse mackerel, black grouse, bonito, lefer. The explosions at sea in the north apparently create an acoustic barrier that confuses natural migration to Crimea.

That is why only individual horse mackerel are caught in Varna. The fish of this species hid in the riot in Asparuhovo. It is obvious that this is a Crimean horse mackerel, which generally winters in deep caves and its catch begins in March.

However, the mass influx of fish from the Sea of Marmara is questionable. As early as February, fishermen noticed large quantities of mullet moving from north to south, frightened by the explosions.

Many fished for trawls in the port of Varna in specimens of 2 kg, which have rarely been observed in recent years.

Due to the war, however, fish activity has completely disappeared. This spring, even the ducks, which have to spawn en masse in the sandy bottoms and shoals, are not eating. In general, in the spring these fish are caught mostly for their good caviar, which gourmets salt and keep in the refrigerator.

He is currently trying on all sorts of baits. But neither chicken nor garden snails, mussels, white worms and traditional shrimp are successful as bait at this time.

Mullet fish, which go to attack sea worms when the first cherries ripen, also appear sporadically. Big Ilaria rarely calls Veteran Beach, 20 km south of Varna.

However, there are no mullets. Platerina and ilaria have not yet appeared south of Bourgas, although these fish leave there on May 1.

Two springs in a row, Varna was attacked by exotic sea crows. They revolved around the holes under the quays and especially in front of the Sea Station.

Initially, they were caught on a leash. Then it was invented by 7 sea hooks seven meters a meter from the bottom up. The lead was pulled a meter or two above the bottom and the rod was placed on the concrete.

There were sharp and strong blows that could even throw the line into the water.

The gargoyles pecked at dawn and evening, pounding in the dark. However, few used the light of a lantern, which attracts mysterious fish at night. But now there are no gargoyles, as there are no other southern fish.

Currently, the king of the sea is the anchovy, which is generally more cold-loving, and may come from Lake Varna, where it winters because of the warm water from the flow. The big scorpions are also a hit.

These poisonous creatures bite on both horse mackerel and ducklings. They peck at everything and the old fishermen tear them from the poisonous thorns because their meat was a delicacy. The same is true of sea dragons, which, however, move along with horse mackerel and are currently a nook.

But to make the paradox of sea fishing more complete, trout began to bite into the sea. It is rumored that these are dropped from cages in Ukraine American and gray, which in turn look like salmon with their pink side spots.

Military action in Ukraine is also a major cause of change in dolphin-inhabited areas. According to scientists from Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey, disoriented dolphins are increasingly found near the coast. They, like fish, come from north to south.

The vestibular apparatus of dolphins is sensitive to various electronic signals and explosive waves and easily gets entangled in nets and dies.
