Four years after the immense A Deeper Understanding (2017), The War On Drugs announce its continuation. In recent times the band of Adam Granduciel has kept a low profile, working in the studio on a new album, remixing “Scarlett” de The Rolling Stones and recording exclusive performances for various non-profit associations, including Vote Ready to motivate the vote, Love From Philly that works to benefit the Philadelphia arts community and Tzedek DC, which supports the legal rights of low-income DC residents.
Last year they published Live Drugs, a collection of live recordings compiled from more than 40 hard drives spaced over the band’s years of touring with their albums. Now they are back with I Don’t Live Here Anymore and it has been produced by Granduciel and his collaborator Shawn Everet and recorded in different studios, such as the famous Electric Lady in New York or Sound City in Los Angeles.
The album will be published on October 29 through Atlantic Records and we can already listen to the first of his songs.
This will be the songs from I Don’t Live Here Anymore
