The mother had been part of the Ukrainian military for eight years, serving as a paramedic in the Donetsk region. She was killed by Russians on the border between Donetsk and Zaporizhia.

Semidjanova (48) was the mother of six children of her own, in addition to the family having adopted six children from an orphanage.
On Monday this week, President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that some 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed since the war broke out. However, there is great uncertainty about the numbers, probably there are far more.
According to Pravda, the family has still not gotten her home to be able to bury her, due to tough fights in the area where she was killed.
– We know where our mother was killed, between which villages, but we do not know who we can contact to get her home. We do not even know what happened to her, whether she has already been buried there or sent to the village for burial, writes Anna Semidjanova.
– Fear a whole new reality
The mother received the Order of Honor because she remained in the areas with ongoing fighting.

– Every year she became more beautiful and stronger in every way. She was so strong that in addition to raising six children of her own, she was able to raise adopted children as her own. When our country needed people, she could not step aside and chose to become part of Ukraine’s defense. She was a person with many talents, and I do not care what people say – this was her choice, no one forced her. Every person is important in such a time, she writes.
