The skies over Bulgaria and Turkey have become clogged after Ukraine closed its airspace due to the war, according to the map of flightradar24.
Many airlines have diverted their flights over Russia to pass through Turkey and then Bulgaria.
The Air Traffic Management (ATC) is ready to service the increased air traffic over Bulgaria, the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced, quoted by BTA.
At around 4:00 this morning, the Ukrainian authorities issued a NOTAM notice of the closure of all Ukrainian airspace for civil flights, including airports in Ukraine.
