The Ukrainian military reports on its official Facebook page that their forces had discovered the convoy a few days before.
The special forces are then said to have established an ambush on the bridge, and explosive charges were placed under it.
According to the defense, the bridge was blown up as the column of armored Tigr vehicles, a type of Russian military vehicle, and several trucks crossed it.
