‘The Walking Dead’ secretly continues after Season 11

The Walking Dead season 11 the end? Not really, as the series continues in the spin-offs.

A little while ago it became clear that the eleventh season of The Walking Dead the latter will be and that the franchise thereafter relies on spin-offs around individual characters. It looks suspiciously like we’re just dealing with some sort of title change.

If all goes according to plan, Season 11 will kick off just about early October 2021 and then end after 24 episodes. After that, multiple spin-offs should emerge and the first would focus on the characters Daryl (Norman Reedus) in Carol (Melissa McBride).

The Walking Dead secretly continues

This spin-off is described as “a different show, with a different tone” and should debut on AMC in 2023. Chief content officer Scott Gimple now reports that the story of the mother series lives on through Daryl and Carol.

“There are, of course, ways the story can continue,” Gimple said to Insider. “It will continue with Daryl and Carol. It will be a different show with a different tone, but the story from that corner of The Walking Dead in some ways remains visible through them.”
