Negan. Introduced in season 6, the character of Negan made us tremble. He made us angry. Sometimes he even made us smile. We know, we don’t make a perfect series without a good villain. And that’s all Negan is – or at least all he was. The Saviors frontman literally sowed terror for long episodes but, come to think of it, no one really knew what made him so cruel. Always accompanied by his bat (baptized Lucille in honor of his missing wife), Negan is probably one of the characters the most complex franchise and that’s exactly why the last episode of season 10 is so interesting. After so many years, we finally dive into his past. Who was he ? How did he become the cruel being we have come to know? Everything is in this episode made of flashbacks which, obviously, was unanimous on Twitter.

To play Lucille, the production has chosen to turn to Hilarie Burton (Les Frères Scott) who, as we recall, shares the life of the actor.. And that’s probably the best choice. A difficult episode, certainly, but captivating emerges. This Season Finale catches up with the episode broadcast last week by far and only arouses curiosity: what about the very last season? What role will Negan play in the sequel? ? Patience…
