The walk that changed values: how Maya traveled more than 4,000 kilometers

To be able to walk for several months, where the main company is just yourself, you need to know how to have fun and enjoy your company, believes Maija Krastiņa. She recently returned for more than five months and four thousand miles of hiking in the United States (ASV), where he not only experienced breathtaking views and the visit of a cheeky bear, but also understood what is important in life and who wants to live his life as idyllic as in the mountains.

May walked the “Pacific Crest trail”, which is currently one of the longest hiking trails in the world – stretching 4,265 kilometers from Mexican as far as Canadian along the border ASV west coast. This is also one of the most scenic trails and Maia describes it as very hilly and desert in general. She says the trail is divided into five sections: Southern California, the western Sierra Nevada mountain range, Northern California, Oregon and Washington.
