West Village It is my favorite neighborhood in Manhattan. The plan? Walk in search of finds that change according to the day.
You can stay in a corner that surprises you full of balloons and discover a secret patio that offers you a casual and fascinating concert.
I made a mandatory stop at a local of energy stones where I bought a crystal of salt. I loved it, because when you turn you get to see inside – in a translucent and interconnected way – the circular pattern of nature.
Also for its flexibility. It is a very strong stone that, when submerged in water, can return to its original state, causing a unique feeling of freedom.
Another unavoidable visit is Mc Nulty’s Tea greeted with a sign that says “Rare Teas & Choice Coffees since 1895”. Safety pin.
I like very much go read Buvette while I drink the good coffee they serve. There are usually many people, but there I always have my place assured: a mini table in a tiny corner near the entrance door, where hardly a person enters and nobody wants to sit down!
I like to have lunch at “Delice & Sarrasin”, a French and vegan restaurant Recommended by a friend and I adopted as my own.
You eat well, there are usually not so many people and I like their small glasses, that French unit of measure that gives me a break from the typical giant American glasses, impossible to finish.
In some corner of the West Village, there is always an artist painting beautiful things … Recently, a friend gave me one of her works.
There are places that don’t really understand what they sell… and that makes them even more interesting. It is part of the charm of Manhattan in which it is enough to walk to be surprised with what it offers you again every day. It’s fun guaranteed.

And if you walk a little further, over the Hudson River, you will reach the 132 concrete tulips that support a divine park. Definitely, Little Island is the new gem in town.
