The Volume of Homecoming Vehicles for Eid 2022 is the Highest in History

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk noted, the volume of vehicles at commuting flow Eid in 2022 is the highest compared to normal times or Lebaran previous years.

On D-3, the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri or Friday (29/4/2022) was an example.

The volume of vehicles on that day broke record the previous highest volume of vehicles, namely in the 2019 Eid period.

It is known, the volume of vehicles leaving Jabodetabek heading east via the Trans Java toll road during the period going home Lebaran 2019 reached 103,077 vehicles.

Meanwhile, on D-3 yesterday, there were 105,016 vehicles leaving Jabotabek for the East (Cirebon, Semarang, Solo, Surabaya, and surrounding areas).

This number increased by 165.5 percent from the normal traffic for the Lebaran homecoming period in November 2021, which was 39,554 vehicles.

Jasa Marga’s Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Dwimawan Heru explained, in order to maximize user service, Jasa Marga operates operating substations up to twice the normal traffic conditions.

“We are maximizing the capacity of the toll gate to serve the increase in traffic volume at the Cikampek Utama GT (Toll Gate), which operates a total of 30 transaction lanes as well as the addition of 4 mobile reader in tandem,” said Heru, quoted from a written statement, Sunday (1/5/2022).

Heru continued, his party will continue to collaborate with related ministries and institutions in order to provide the best service for travelers.

“The implementation of the homecoming service with the highest traffic during the Eid al-Fitr holiday cannot be separated from collaboration with the Police, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing and stakeholder other related,” said Heru.
