Fuego volcano erupted near the capital of Guatemala, but no evacuation has been ordered yet, AFP reported.
The eruption caused lava to leak to the foot of the volcano, which is 35km southwest of the capital. This is the strongest eruption since 2018, when Fuego took 215 victims.
Rain of volcanic ash is now pouring on four villages in the area.

The volcano is 3763 meters high. There are two other active volcanoes in Guatemala – Pacaya and Santiagito.
