According to Vanity Fair the start-up “Respeecher” is tasked with reproducing the voice of Darth Vader and allowing the legendary villain to live. Respeecher has worked with Lucasfilm in the past to reproduce voices from the Star Wars universe, including reworking footage from the archives.
Even in the recent “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series that was shown on Disney +, a reworking of Respeecher could be heard. Much to the delight of the fans, who were surprised by the return of Darth Vader. Something that Respeecher, a Ukrainian start-up, had accomplished during the Russian invasion of their country.
