This Saturday, May 6, was an important step for the talents of The Voice on TF1. For the first time since the start of the season, it was up to the public to choose their favorite talents and no longer the coaches. The singer from Vannes, David Dax, successfully passed the Cross Battles test.
The principle of the test: a coach chooses a talent in his team and designates an opposing team to challenge. The two talents of the two different teams take turns singingbefore the audience present on set vote for one or the other.
Amelia Bent thus selected his talent David Dax for challenge Zazie’s team. This former commando rifleman in the French air force who decided to leave everything to devote himself to music performed a demanding song : “Never Enough” du film The Greatest Showman. A performance that amazed the other coaches, Vianney, Zazie and Bigflo and Oli.
But in front of him Max Noviktalent of the Zazie team, also impressed by singing “Be quiet” by Emmanuel Moire.
“It was a clash of the titans. The two are among the two most beautiful voices of the season“, summed up Amel Bent just after the benefits. The proof is, the public votes were very tight : David Dax won with 57,7% voices !
“I went to next to nothingsaid the Vannetais leaving the stage. It’s just crazy to be able to continue the adventure, thank you to the public who voted for me!“. His coach Amel Bent is full of praise for his protege: “I love her voice, her sensitivity, her emotion, her determination. He’s a great artist“.
David Dax will play the next stage, the “Super Cross Battles”, from May 20th.
