The polytraumatized biker, hit this Sunday, May 29 by a Twingo, in Châtillon-d’Azergues, remains in hospital but his life is no longer in danger.
Airlifted in serious condition
The accident occurred around 12:45 p.m. on the D385 towards Chazay-d’Azergues. The driver, making a U-turn in an unauthorized place, would have hit the biker, a volunteer firefighter, who was trying to overtake him at Châtillon-d’Azergues.
Aged 46, he was airlifted in serious condition to Lyon Sud hospital.
