The Visale rental guarantee will be extended on June 4 to all employees earning less than € 1,500 net per month, Actualité / Actu Immobilier

The Minister in charge of Housing Emmanuelle Wargon announced this morning on Europe 1 that the benefit of the “Visale” rental guarantee offered by Action Logement to owners will be officially extended on Friday June 4 to all salaried tenants earning less than € 1,500 net per month, regardless of their age and their employment contract.

Until now, this deposit was available to young people aged 18 to 30 and to employees over 30 who were newly hired or signed a mobility lease.

36-month default coverage

Created in 2016, Visale is a deposit granted to the tenant by Action Logement, aimed at taking charge, in the event of unpaid bills, of the payment of the rent and charges of his main residence, during the first 3 years of the lease.

Rental charges and degradations can also be taken care of, within the limit of 2 months’ rent. If the owner adheres to Visale, the tenant does not have to provide a physical or moral guarantor.

6 million eligible French people

Its extension to all workers with a salary of less than 1,500 € had already been mentioned by the Minister in February.

It will now be effective in a few days, in order to support in particular ” all those who were called ‘essential’ workers during the health crisis, those on the second line », Explained Emmanuelle Wargon at the microphone ofEurope 1.

« These are workers whose wages are sometimes limited and who struggle to have access to housing in large cities, those whose cases are not retained. It is these employees that I am thinking of when coming out of the crisis, to enable them to find housing in better conditions ”, she added.

Since its launch, 380,000 people have benefited from the Visale guarantee. Its extension should make it eligible for 6 million French people, she said on Twitter.
