The virus closed Jagr’s stadium. He was supposed to deal with Babiš in it, the infection was transferred by hockey players from Switzerland and transported to the Czech Republic Home

PRAGUE Youth national hockey has become a new focus of the virus in the Czech Republic. In Kladno, a virus brought from matches in Switzerland closed the stadium. On Friday, the Hockey Association announced the cancellation of all August events.

It was probably supposed to be the highlight of Friday’s program by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (YES). Negotiations with hockey legend Jaromír Jágr directly at his own stadium in Kladno, which has been in need of reconstruction for years. The meeting with the head of government was to secure the necessary finances. However, both gentlemen will have to exchange suitable sports scenes for the “winter” for an office in the government office. The Kladno stadium closed its hygiene on Friday and performs complete disinfection there.

“To date, Mr. Jágr and I have agreed to suspend our activities until further notice,” Lenka Duchajová, head of the anti-epidemic department of Kladno hygiene, told the Lidovky.cz server. According to her, samples will be taken in the youth and junior team at the Rytíři Kladno hockey club during Friday.

“Unfortunately, on Thursday evening we received news about two more infected people from other clubs,” the hygienist added. In Kladno alone, they could trace sixty contacts in connection with the infection.

The source of the infection among Central Bohemian hockey players is three athletes who have returned from the concentration of the national team under 17. Upon his return, it turned out that it was the young Kladno hockey player who passed the test positive. On Monday, however, he raced across the Kladno ice with his teammates. Duchajová also confirmed that she subsequently had to contact other hygiene stations, as the team was composed of players from all corners of the country. According to the sources of the Lidovky.cz server, these are clubs in Pilsen, Prague and Ostrava.

The union cancels the action

Already on Friday morning, the Hockey Association responded with a press release announcing the cancellation of all representative events of youth teams, which were to take place in August. “Under the currently set quarantine measures, the competition season could probably not take place,” states the report of the president of the hockey association, Tomáš Král.

However, the Czech virus trail also crossed borders. According to the findings of the Lidovky.cz server, three young hockey players managed to travel to Finland before the hygienists could catch them. The situation should be dealt with by the Ministry of Health at the moment, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs replied to questions that it had no information about the case.
