Big names of the platoon, among them Chris Froome, Nairo Quintana, Egan Bernal and Romain Bardet, They will participate in July in a charitable virtual Tour de France, announced the organizer of the Tour, ASO.
The cyclists of 23 men’s and 16 women’s teams will run, during three weekends in July, in six stages of 22.9 to 48 kilometers on the Zwift platform, of which four are inspired by tours of the true Tour de France.

The start will be given on July 4, with a decoration inspired by Nice, the city from which the real Grande Boucle will launch on August 29.
The arrival at the virtual Champs Elysees will take place on July 19, one day after the main “mountain stage”, with an arrival at Le Chalet-Reynard, on Mont Ventoux.
Contrary to the true Tour, cyclists are not required to run each of the stages, and those who wear the yellow, green, white or polka dot ‘jerseys’ may give it to a partner.

ASO announces, among the participants, Egan Bernal, Geraint Thomas, Christopher Froome, Julian Alaphilippe, Richie Porte, Greg Van Avermaet, Mathieu Van der Poel, Nairo Quintana, Mads Pedersen, Warren Barguil and Romain Bardet in men.
In women, the organizer announces the presence of Chloé Dygert, Anna van der Breggen, Chantal Blaak, Marianne Vos, Coryn Rivera, Marta Bastianelli, Lisa Brennauer, Kirsten Wild, Elisa Balsamo, Tiffany Cromwell, Lizzie Deignan and Audrey Cordon-Ragot. The funds collected will go to different associations.
