A Moroccan steward maintained professionalism but ended up crying on the sidelines when Morocco won World Cup 2022 viral on social media.
This moment was captured by the cameras of the audience present at the Morocco-Spain match in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup last Tuesday (6/12). The steward appeared to stand facing the crowd during the match.
But his gesture showed anxiety as the match moved to penalties. From time to time she looked across the field to witness the high-five drama unfold.

The steward’s tears finally burst as the Moroccan player, Achraf Hakimi became the winner of Morocco’s victory over Spain in the penalty shootout. The steward was seen celebrating the win as he still tried to be professional in overseeing the match.
In the quarterfinals, Morocco faced the strong team of Portugal. After not being favourites, Morocco were actually able to topple their opponent with a narrow score of 1-0.
This makes Morocco managed to make history. They became the first African country to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup. They also became the first Arab nation to be able to set foot on that spot.
In the last four rounds, the Atlas Lions will face France who beat England in the previous stage. The France vs Morocco match will take place on Thursday (15/12) in the morning WIB.
Facing Les Bleus will be the next tough challenge for Morocco. Several players like Yassine Bounou, Sofyan Amrabat, Youssef En Nesyri, Hakim Ziyech and Achraf Hakimi will become Morocco’s mainstay in hopes of chasing a final ticket.
