Malaysia

Matchmaking knows no background and nationality. Like this man from Malaysia, Radzi Md Noor, whose love story is in a relationship with a woman from Poland, went viral.

Through Radzi’s TikTok account, he shared the story of the beginning of his love story with Polish Caucasians. Radzi revealed that he was acquainted with Polish Caucasians who are familiarly called Kasia when he was a tour guide. To Mstar, Radzi said that he did not expect at all to have partners from different countries.

“When I was scrolling Instagram and then met this woman’s live session, I joined in. Apparently she was near Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. Incidentally, I opened a cafe near here. Kasia is from Poland and wants to visit a friend who is in Singapore, “Razi said.

According to the 34-year-old man, Kasia stopped by Pulau Pinang. The Polish foreigner went alone to the island because his travel companions decided to go to Thailand.

“So he stopped by Penang while his friend was near Thailand. At that time he was really alone, he had no friends and he didn’t even know what interesting places in Penang were,” recalled Radzi.

When Kasia did Instagram Live, Radzi worked up the courage to write a comment. He offered himself to be a tour guide in Penang, Malaysia, for two days.

At that time, Kasia immediately replied to Radzi’s comment and asked where to meet. After communicating, the two then made an appointment to meet around Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.

“I recommend the Kasia hotel near tourist attractions. The first day you can just walk. I take Kasia to go eat nasi kandar, chat kway teow, laksa and I also provide other delicious food recommendations,” said Radzi.

After eating his fill, Radzi took Kasia to Batu Peringghi to see the beach. While enjoying the view, Kasia told Radzi that in Poland, she is actively working as an interior designer. Kasia was interested in seeing historical buildings in Penang.

The second day, Radzi invited Kasia to ride a motorbike because the distance to the tourist sites was quite far. However, Radzi was afraid when he offered Kasia to ride a motorbike.

“He was actually excited because this was his first time riding a motorbike. But Kasia still enjoyed the view while being exposed to the sea breeze,” said Radzi.

After two days of Radzi being her tour guide, Kasia was starting to feel comfortable. Kasia then asked Radzi for an additional day to be her tour guide. As a result, Radzi became Kasia’s tour guide for four days.

Radzi admitted that he was just being himself and did not intend to get close to Kasia while guiding the tour. He never thought of making Kasia his girlfriend.

“But apparently he likes my way, because according to him I’m not annoying. Before this, Kasia had traveled to other countries and the tour guide was not friendly,” he said.

While enjoying their walk together, Radzi and Kasia exchanged stories about each other’s lives. From there, the two of them got close.

Radzi revealed that language differences were not an obstacle for the two of them to communicate. Because, Radzi already has experience in the hospitality sector.

“I once worked at the Hard Rock hotel in Pulau Pinang and from there I usually hang out with foreign tourists. My English is not very fluent, but I am confident and not nervous when I speak,” explained Radzi.

Kasia then tried to learn Malay but it was difficult for her tongue to pronounce it. When he returned to his country, his relationship with Radzi was not cut off. Because the two had exchanged phone numbers. The two of them also had a long-distance love relationship.

“I have Kasia’s WhatsApp number saved and she also has my contact. Every two days we talk by phone. The time difference between Malaysia and Poland is about six hours, so usually if she wants to tell a story, she sends a message first,” said Radzi.

Radzi explained that Kasia would return to Malaysia in July 2023. And Radzi couldn’t wait for Kasia’s arrival.

“He said he missed Malaysia, because in Poland the temperature was negative. Kasia said it was the best here because it was always hot and could come out at any time. The same goes for the food,” Radzi imitated.
