Zefira Valova is concertmaster of the Baroque Orchestra of the European Union, of the French orchestra Les Ambassadeurs, and also performs with the baroque ensembles Holland Baroque Society (Netherlands) and Arte dei Suonatori (Poland). As a member and concertmaster of the EU Baroque Orchestra, he has worked with some of the biggest names on the Baroque scene, such as Lars Ulrich Montersen, Roy Goodman, Ton Koopman, Enrico Onofri, Petra Muleans, Alexis Kosenko,. In July 2012, he conducted another tour with the orchestra with a program by JF Rameau and conductor Lars Ulrich Montersen.
Zefira Valova is a regular member of the orchestras La Chambre Philharmonique under the direction of Emmanuel Krivin /France/, Arte dei Suonatori /Poland/, Cordevento /Netherlands/, B,rock /Belgium/, Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, etc. In 2011, he began active work as a soloist and concertmaster of Les Ambassadeurs – an orchestra with international participation, led by Alexis Kosenko /France/. In 2013, their new CD with concerts by Antonio Vivaldi will be released for the French label Alpha.
Since 2011, Zefira Valova has been playing on a violin by Lorenzo and Tommaso Carcasi, Florence 1760, also provided by the Jumpstart Jr. Foundation.
